A bit late, but here you go. Some of our best work has just hit the shelves of HMV. Please support great creative initiatives and purchase one of these babies. A massive thanks to Universal and Carlie Spiteri who’s idea this whole thing was. Thanks too to Universal UK’s Maya Jenkins and last-but-by-no-means-least our very own Super Hero Illustrator Rafal Szymanski. Well done lad, you can have as many fag breaks as you want from now on. You’ve earned them.
Some flattering tweets for Reel Heroes go like this:

I wish @wearehicksville could design the actual world from now on…it would look amazing!
Or more accurately we should say, we see out the last ever hard copy of Design Week with a front cover mention for our comic book re-sleeve project for Universal Pictures, ‘Reel Heroes’. We’ll blog more about this when we’re allowed to. Click here for the online version of the article.
So long printed Design Week, a british institution. Hicksville salutes you.
Hicksville’s first TV campaign (there was press too). A seminal moment in our short history so far! Thanks to Sara Dobson and Paramount for believing in us… Thanks Raoul and Philip for doing a great job…
Our fate was in their tiny plastic hands. The poster was in the grimy, enthusiastic ones of Raoul, Dan, David, Rafal and Rennie. Thanks to Dave ‘knight takes’ Bishop, Sony Pictures & Vertigo for one of the most fun briefs in a while.
We haven’t put much of our work up here so far, due to the fact we spend most of our time pistol-whipping and round-housing for justice in the streets, but this job was worth taking a break for in particular. Thanks to Chris, Andrea, Rebecca, Nic and Zak at Icon for a righteous b**chin’ project.
It’s time we started mentioning our work here on this blog. What better a commission than this to start us off? Kieran Parker (Producer) and Steve Barker (Director) today confirmed that Hicksville will be completing the beginning animated sequence, titles and title card for Outpost 2. What’s more they ran through the plot with us and it’s cool as. What’s not to love about Nazi zombies? Unless they’ve got you tied to a V2 rocket of course… (NOT part of the film).
